Pete began his career at the in-house advertising department of Fremont Industries, an industrial chemical company located in Shakopee, Minnesota. This experience gave him firsthand knowledge of the kinds of challenges and concerns his clients face every day, helping him develop solutions faster, more economically and more intuitively than a more conventional agency.

As president of Holbrook & Associates, Pete’s chief responsibilities include concept and strategy development, copywriting, creative direction, account service and office administration.

Before founding his agency in 1991, Pete was creative director at Marketing Promotions, Inc. of St. Paul, a business-to-business direct response agency. He was also the co-founder of a second ad agency; an architectural drafting firm; and a compliance testing laboratory for industrial firefighting foams. A Minnesota native and former high school classmate of Jesse Ventura, Pete currently resides in the Prospect Park area of Minneapolis with his wife of 32 years, Susan.
